Gladys E. Brown

Pawtucket – Gladys E. (Walters) Brown, 86, formerly of Oswald Street, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald W. Brown, Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Salvatoria (Barone) Walters. Gladys worked for the former FRAM Corp., East Providence for many years until her retirement, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Limerock Chapter. Gladys was always happiest when she had her husband and all of her family around her. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who always put her family first. Gladys will be remembered for her kind and gentle ways, her love of reading and knowledge, and for her beautiful smile. She leaves five children, Donna L.
