Gisele Lucille Godin

Pawtucket – Gisele L. (Laprade) Godin, 80, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 22, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Ernest R. Godin, the couple would have celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary on September 5, 2015. Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Deschamps) Laprade, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life. Gisele had been employed by Weintraub’s, Pawtucket and most recently at Sears in the Emerald Square Mall, North Attleboro until retiring. She was a former member and vice-president of the Women’s Guild at Our Lady of Consolation Church, Pawtucket. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Denise G. Coutu of Lincoln, wife of the late Rene R. Coutu and Celeste M. Goldstein and her husband, David of Cumberland; four grandchildren, Lisanne Landi and her husband, Christopher, Laura Young and her husband, Stephen, Joseph Goldstein and his wife, Alyssa and Molly Goldstein; five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Taylor, Zachary,...
