Gilbert G. Taylor, Jr.

Pawtucket – Gilbert “Buddy” G. Taylor, Jr., 71, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013. He was the husband of the late Rita M. (Venturini) Taylor. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Gilbert G., Sr. and Bertha E. (Kinch) Taylor. Buddy was a millwright at Microfibres, Inc. for many years until retiring in 2004. He leaves a son, Gilbert A. Taylor and his wife, Nancy of Pawtucket; two daughters, Sherri O’Shea and her husband, Aaron in Florida and Shelly Pouliot of Pawtucket; two stepsons, Richard and Jason Brodeur both of Pawtucket; three sisters, Beverly Case of Warwick, Joan DeWolfe and her husband, George of Rumford and Janice Salisbury and her husband, Donald in Florida; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Sandra Bowen. Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. VISITATION will be Monday 4 to 7 p.m....
