Pawtucket – Gilbert J.
Pelletier, Jr., 82, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016.
He was the beloved husband of Rita (Buckley) Pelletier for sixty years.
Born in Rehoboth, a son of the late Gilbert J.
Pelletier, Sr. and Priscilla (Needham) Pelletier, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life.
Gil was a Korean War U.S.
Army veteran, and had been a pantogragh operator at the L.
Balfour Company, Attleboro for thirty years.
He was a lifelong golfer and an avid sports fan, Gil especially loved watching the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Boston Celtics.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Gary Pelletier and his wife, Jacquelyn; two daughters, Sharon Kearns and her husband, Jeffrey and Lisa Cronan and her husband, Paul; a sister, Dorothy Williams; five grandchildren, Ryan, Gary, Jr., Sean, Emily and Allison and three great-grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Norman Pelletier and Lorraine Schultz.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St.
Leo the Great, 699 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Seekonk Cemetery, Newman Ave., Seekonk.
VISITATION will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m.
