Gertrude Milbourne

Seekonk – Gertrude (Thiemann) Milbourne, 101, formerly of Seekonk, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late William Milbourne. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Gustave and Maria (Werner) Thiemann, she moved to Seekonk in 1969. Mrs. Milbourne had been employed by Texas Instruments, Attleboro until retiring in 1966, and was previously employed by the former Darlington Textile Company. She was a former member of the Darlington Congregational Church. She leaves a nephew, Warren H. Keenan and his wife, Deanna in California and a grandniece, Lisa love in Virginia. She was the sister of the late Alex Thiemann, Alfred Thiemann and Elsie Plante. Services will be held Thursday at Noon at WILIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation and flowers are omitted. Memorial gifts to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
