Gerard P. Desrosiers

Pawtucket – Gerard P. Desrosiers, 77, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020. He was the husband of Louise T. (Dextraze) Desrosiers for fifty-four years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Adelard and Germaine (Dubuc) Desrosiers. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Gerard studied in both Pharmacy and Engineering. He taught Engineering at Toll Gate Vocational Technical High School, Warwick, from 1971 to 1985. He retired in 2003 from Matrix, East Providence, where he worked as a plant manager. Gerard was a leader of Boy Scout, Troop 15, Pawtucket, for many years and the former president of the Society of Plastics Engineers. He enjoyed skiing, whitewater rafting and hiking. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Diane M. Desrosiers and her husband, Ryan, of Denver, Colorado and Brian K. Desrosiers and his wife, Beth, of Charlestown and four grandsons, Jacob, Jared, Joel and Jason. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery will be private. Memorial contributions to HopeHealth Hulitar...
