Charette, 80, passed away at home on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Andrew and Doris (Lacasse) Charette.

Gerard had resided in Florida before moving to West Warwick fourteen months ago.

He was a proud United States Navy veteran.

Gerard was a Central Falls Police Officer for twelve years before moving to Florida and becoming a Correctional Officer for twenty years until retiring.

He leaves his daughter, Cheri A.

Parrillo and her husband, Scott of West Warwick; five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Sandra Amado of Florida and Debbie Estrella of Texas and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his significant other of over twenty years, Alice Gura of Florida.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend VISITATION on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
