Georgette B. Olet

Pawtucket – Georgette B. (Berard) Drolet, 91, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.   For the past year she resided at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home in East Providence, where she enjoyed being with the wonderful and caring staff members and residents. Georgette was the beloved wife of the late Alcide Drolet. Born in P.Q., Canada, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna (LaRochelle) Berard. She and her late husband were longtime parishioners of St. Cecilia Church and members of LeFoyer Club, Pawtucket. Georgette worked for many years as the bookkeeper and production control at American Steel & Aluminum, Cumberland. She was a devoted and loving wife, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend, who enjoyed caring for her family. Georgette also enjoyed dancing, knitting and frequent visits to Canada where many of her family and friends still reside.
