Georgette B. Olet

Pawtucket – Georgette B. (Berard) Drolet, 91, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

For the past year she resided at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home in East Providence, where she enjoyed being with the wonderful and caring staff members and residents.

Georgette was the beloved wife of the late Alcide Drolet.

Born in P.Q., Canada, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna (LaRochelle) Berard.

She and her late husband were longtime parishioners of St.

Cecilia Church and members of LeFoyer Club, Pawtucket.

Georgette worked for many years as the bookkeeper and production control at American Steel & Aluminum, Cumberland.

She was a devoted and loving wife, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend, who enjoyed caring for her family.

Georgette also enjoyed dancing, knitting and frequent visits to Canada where many of her family and friends still reside.

She leaves three children, Diane Cauble and her husband, Robert, of Daytona Beach, FL, Ronald Drolet of Pawtucket and Jacqueline Normand and her husband, Mark, of Rehoboth; six grandchildren, Kristen Morse, Nicole Beck, Nathan and Brandon Drolet, Stephanie Vargas and Danielle Normand; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Georgette was the sister of the late Laure Lambert, Alice Joyal, Leopold, Roland and Louis-Amie Berard.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be Friday, June 8th from 4 to 7 p.m.
