Georgette R. Newton

Pawtucket – Georgette R. (LaPerche) Newton, 86, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Newton. Born in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late George and Alice (Trottier) LaPerche. Georgette worked as a nurse’s aide at the Oak Hill Nursing Home, Pawtucket for many years until her retirement. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Georgette leaves three sons, Michael G. Newton and his wife, Barbara, of Marietta, PA, David J. Newton and his wife, Dale, of Lincoln and Kevin M. Newton and his wife, Patti, of Pawtucket; a daughter, Karyn Carfagna and her husband, Jeff, of Pawtucket; six grandchildren, Joshua Newton, Kerri Galipeau, James Newton, Lauren Hughes, Matthew Newton and Jack Carfagna; a sister, Theresa Charpentier of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews.
