South Attleboro – George “Butch” W.
Lennox, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30, 2015.
He was the beloved husband of Sharyn L.
Whitney-Lennox for thirty-eight years.
Born in Maybole, Scotland, a son of the late Robert N. and Annie E. (Roberts) Lennox, he resided in Woonsocket and Warwick before moving to South Attleboro nine years ago.
Butch served in the United States Marine Corps.
He had been employed by Anchor Subaru, North Smithfield until retiring, and was also Santa Claus for various local organizations including The Impossible Dream.
Butch enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and dining out.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Glynn M.
Lennox of Seekonk and Patrick Lennox and his wife, Regina of Sanford, Florida; two daughters, Kimberly A.
Frazier of Sanford, Florida and Rebecca W.
Lennox-Dias and her husband, Jason of Cranston; three sisters, Donna Gaudette and her husband, Paul of Smithfield, Patricia Petrin and her husband, Russell of North Smithfield and Sharon Boucher; six grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his faithful companion, Mugsy.
He was the brother of the late Alan Lennox.
VISITATION will be Thursday 3 to 6 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Celebration of Life at 7 p.m. at American Legion Post 312, 437 Newport Ave., So.
