George Anthony Tedino

Tedino, Sr., of South Attleboro passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 26, 2011.

He was the beloved husband of Virginia A. (Thompson) Tedino.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Constanzo and Filomina (Charamello) Tedino, he resided in South Attleboro for 53 years.

George was a World War II U.S.

He was self-employed with his brother Frank and his father Constanzo, where he supervised various construction projects, including the construction of the New York Throughway, the Narragansett Bay Hurricane Barrier in Providence and the Barclay House in Boston.

He was also the Vice President of Road-Ryte Construction Co.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 312, South Attleboro and American Legion Post of Canton, MA.

George enjoyed boating, cruising and traveling, but most or all he enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

Besides his wife he leaves a son, Michael A.

Tedino and his wife Sharon of Pawtucket, a daughter, Carolyn J.

Tedino and her husband Joseph Lajoie of South Attleboro and his daughter-in-law, Monique Tedino of North Attleboro, wife of his late son George A.

His grandchildren, George A.

Tedino III and his wife Kim and Dominic Tedino and a great-grandson, George A.

He was the brother of the late Frank and Joseph Tedino.

His funeral and burial will be private.
