George E. Smith

Attleboro – George E. Smith, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Theresa (Thomas) Smith. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Thomas and Laura (Munyon) Smith. George resided in Seekonk for over 40 years and was the proprietor of RI Rooter, Action Rooter and Gagne Rooter for many years until his retirement. He leaves a son, Lance D. Smith of Pawtucket; four step-children, Sharon Hall and Kevin Hurst both of Seekonk, Steven Hurst and Robert Hurst both of Warwick and two sisters, Helen Korsak of Pawtucket and Lois Barney of Norton. VISITATION will begin on Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by Services at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
