Skoutas, 92, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015.

He was the beloved husband of Dorothy A. (Henshaw) Skoutas for sixty-four years.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Gregory and Deonisia (Thanopoulou) Skoutas, he resided in Pawtucket until moving to Smithfield fifty years ago.

George was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran serving in the Marianas.

He was employed at Cumberland Engineering for many years until retiring in 1979.

Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Georgette (Michael) Ferrucci, Deborah Machala and Stephen (Jody) Skoutas.

Grandfather of Melanie, Michael, Christi, Sheana (William Kerwin), Emily, Zachary and Zoey.

Great-grandfather of Dylan and Addison.

Brother of Patricia Jones and the late Charles and Peter Skoutas, Zoe Mac donald, Elizabeth Pyron and Dorothy Skoutas.

Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott St., Pawtucket.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.

VISITATION WILL BE HELD IN THE CHURCH on Monday 4 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Church would be appreciated.
