George "Bud" R. Riendeau

Pawtucket – George “Bud” R. Riendeau, 84, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013. Born in Providence, a son of the late George W. and Mary (Fortier) Riendeau, he resided in Pawtucket over 30 years. Bud was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran. He was employed as a pump operator for the City of Pawtucket at the Filtration Plant, Cumberland for 18 years until retiring, and was also a self employed auto mechanic. He leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was the brother of the late William R., Joseph M. and Robert C. Riendeau. His funeral and visitation will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Raymond Church, 1240 North Main St., Providence. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
