Wakefield – Genevieve (Sikorski) Breslin, 91, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of the late James P.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Rose (Bobola) Sikorski.
Jenny was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Jenny leaves two sons, James Breslin and his wife, Linda of Providence and Robert Breslin and his wife, Marie of Florida; two daughters, Patricia Breslin and her husband, William Filippo of Wakefield and Eileen Breslin Chaput and her husband, Timothy Chaput of Lincoln; ten grandchildren, Gary, David, Lisa, Daniel and Sarah Breslin, Alexandra and Rebecca Filippo, Miranda, Kaitlin and Benjamin Chaput and many friends including the wonderful staff at Scallop Shell.
She was the sister of Mary Massud, Helen Legenza, Joseph Grybowski, Frank Grybowski, Carol Grybowski and the late John, Dorothy, Irene and Edward Sikorski and Stanley and Rose Grybowski.
Jenny had a great sense of humor and a sweet tooth.
She never complained and was known as the "Mayor" of Scallop Shell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church 180 Old North Rd., Kingston.
Interment will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
VISITATION will be Tuesday at William W.
Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket from 4 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to RI Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave.
Providence, RI 02907 will be appreciated.
