Genevieve Alexion

Rehoboth – Genevieve (Lewandowski) Alexion, 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Alexion for 62 years. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late John and Antonina Lewandowski. Mrs. Alexion and her late husband, Harry were the proprietors of the former Alexion’s Restaurant, Newport Ave., Pawtucket for 30 years until their retirement. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed attending craft shows and relaxing by the ocean. Mrs. Alexion leaves her five children, Florence D. Berger of Hereford, AZ, Carol A. Lemieux of Dighton, James H. Alexion of Woonsocket, John Alexion of Pawtucket and Robert P. Alexion of Rehoboth; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a sister, Sophie Imondi of Cumberland and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Sacchi.
