Gene A. Ballard, Sr.

Pawtucket – Gene A. Ballard, Sr., 82, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was the former husband of many years of the late Carmella I. (Quattrini) Ballard. Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, he was a son of the late William H. and Agnes V. Ballard-Smith.  Gene worked for many years as a long-haul truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters Local 251. He had a passion for muscle cars, motorcycles and hotrods. Gene enjoyed attending car shows, local cruise nights and auctions, playing billiards and enjoying good Italian Food.  He will be lovingly remembered by all his family and many friends.  Gene leaves three children, Gene A. Ballard, Jr. of East Providence, Agnes R. Ballard of Barrington, and Kimberly A. Iannuccillo and her husband, Gregory, of Lakewood Ranch, Florida; a brother, Wayne D.
