Gary J. Vadnais

Pawtucket – Gary J. Vadnais, 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2021 with his wife beside him. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl L. (Wray) for twelve years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Leo, Sr. and Ruth T. (Burns) Vadnais. Gary worked as a carpenter and roofer on various home renovation projects throughout the area. He was a selfless, gentleman who would take the shirt off his back for anyone in need. Gary found love later in life after tending to his mother’s needs until her passing. He enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife in their recreational vehicle. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two stepchildren, Erin Maillet of Pawtucket and Philip Maillet of Coventry; four siblings, Ruth Crowe and her husband, Ron, of Seekonk, MA, Leo Vadnais, Jr. and his wife, Janice, of Warwick, Bob Vadnais and his wife, Joanne, of Pawtucket and Brenda Donahue and her husband, James, also of Pawtucket, and many nieces and nephews.
