Sabourin, 79, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
He was the beloved husband of the late Bertha Ann (Walusiak) Sabourin.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Albert J. and Mary C. (Curry) Sabourin.
Gary worked for many years in the textile industry as a technical director and was a longtime member of the (AATCC) American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists.
He also served as a trustee of the Leon Mathieu Senior Center in Pawtucket.
In his free time, Gary enjoyed racing Greyhounds throughout New England, and he was a vocalist for many years with “Ronnie & the Satellites”.
Gary will be lovingly remembered by his family and many friends for his quick wit and love of music.

Sabourin and his wife, Patricia, of Attleboro, Christine P.
Sabourin, and Scott D.
Sabourin and his wife, Celeste, of Burrillville; a grandson and adopted son, Trever J.
Sabourin, USMC; three siblings, Dennis Sabourin and his wife, Michelle, of Santa Rosa, CA, Nadine Wagner and her husband, Rick, of Omaha, NE, and Naomi Parker and her companion, Ronald Johnson, of Pawtucket; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Brian Sabourin.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Thursday beginning at 3:00 p.m., concluding with Services at 5:00 p.m. in WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Blackstone Valley Emergency Food Center, 75 Benefit St., Pawtucket, RI 02861 would be appreciated.
