O’Brien, 56, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Daniel N. and Margaret (Tahney) O’Brien, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life.
He was a member of the 1972 graduating class of St.
Raphael Academy, Pawtucket, where he excelled in athletics.
Gary served as a Seabee in the U.S.
He was a talented carpenter his entire adult life and was currently working for Colony Builders of Rehoboth.
Gary leaves a daughter, Shannon (O’Brien) Marshall and her husband Glen of Attleboro, MA; three grandchildren, Ellen, Sean and Bridget Marshall; three brothers, David O’Brien of North Attleboro, MA, Daniel O’Brien of Waterford, CT and Tom O’Brien of Salem, MA.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Burial will be private.
VISITATION Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m.
