Williams, 84, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011.

He was the beloved husband of Nancy D. (Ball) Williams.

Born in Providence, a son of the late James F. and Harriet (Wallace) Williams, he resided in the Mt.

Pleasant section of Providence until he married in 1955 and moved to Seekonk.

Fred was a typesetter at the Providence Journal Company for 25 years until 1983 and later worked in the Printing Dept. of the L.

Balfour Company, Attleboro.

He was an avid lifelong Detroit Tigers fan.

Besides his wife he leaves a son, Andrew T.

Williams and his wife Donna of Pawtucket; a brother, Arthur Williams of Warwick; three grandsons, Joshua A.

Williams and his wife Melissa in Florida, Joel A.

Williams and Trevor D.

Williams both of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Alvin Williams and Muriel Secor.

VISITATION will begin Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Services at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Seekonk Cemetery.
