Freddy Rivera Galeano

Pawtucket – Freddy Rivera Galeano, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 21, 2024. Born in Cali, Colombia, he was the son of the late Rafael Rivera and Nelly Galeano. Freddy immigrated to the United States in 1999 and settled in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He worked as an accountant in Colombia where he was also a professional dancer. Freddy worked as a driver for Uber since 2022, and enjoyed socializing with passengers. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he was very proud of. Freddy’s presence, humor and loving grace will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by a daughter, Johanna Rivera and her husband, Ramiro, of Pawtucket; Johanna’s mother, Olga Montes, also of Pawtucket; a son, Mauricio Rivera of Canada; two grandchildren, Daniel Rivera and Nicole Giraldo, both of Pawtucket; a beloved German Shepherd, Shadow, and many family members in Colombia.
