Pawtucket – Frank Coppolino, Sr., 90, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
He was the beloved husband of Ethel M (Allsup) Coppolino for 67 loving years.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Domenic and Carmella (Costantino) Coppolino.
Frank was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War and went on to a career as a metal fabricator at Robert C.
Reetz, Co., for thirty-four years, and was a former member of the IDIP Club in Pawtucket.
Frank was known by his family, friends, and neighbors as a handyman and talented cook.
He enjoyed woodworking, repairing and building things around his home, and preparing delicious dinners for his family and friends.
Frank was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need of help.
He also loved spending time on Hog Island, Portsmouth, where he and his family had a small summer cottage.
Frank and his son famously prepared Portuguese chouriço and peppers for the Hog Island Field Day supper.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves three children, Frank Coppolino, Jr., and Caroline L.
Kilduff both of North Attleboro, and Matthew M.
Coppolino of Pascoag; three sisters, Mary Kenney in Florida, Connie Andrews of Seekonk, and Milly Lachance in Florida; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Domenic and Jack Coppolino.
Frank’s Funeral with Military Honors will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Cecilia Church of St.
John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery.
VISITATION will be held on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 would be appreciated.
