Francis L. Ramsdell

Francis L. Ramsdell, 71, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family in North Providence on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather (Papa), who had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family.  He will be fondly remembered by his love and devotion to his family, his hard work and sacrifices, his love without judgement, teaching us all how to be strong and kind to everyone.  He treasured and adored his family. He was the beloved husband of Dianne A. (Collard) Ramsdell for forty-nine years. Born and raised his family in Pawtucket.  He was the son of the late Rita F. (Salvas) Ramsdell. Francis was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam Era and went on to work at the former Carol Cable for thirty years until his retirement.
