Francis G. Lemaire

Seekonk – Lt. Francis G. Lemaire, PPD, Ret., 91, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. He was the husband of the late Wanda H. (Olearczyk) Lemaire. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Herbert J. and Margaret (Beirne) Lemaire. Frank was a World War II veteran, having served in the United States Army Air Corps. He then went on to serve the people of the City of Pawtucket for 26 years in the Pawtucket Police Department, retiring as a lieutenant in 1983. Frank was a friend of Bill W. for well over 40 years. He was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed closely following the New England Patriots. Frank enjoyed gardening and tending to his impeccable lawn, comparable only to a fairway on one of the local golf courses. He will be missed, but lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched over the past 91 years. Frank leaves a daughter, Sheila J. Crafford and her husband, Lee and two granddaughters, Lindsay, and Sarah Crafford all of Seekonk. Due to the current state and health department restrictions...
