Francis L. Gemme

Pawtucket – Francis L. Gemme, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 12, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Joyce L. (Raymond) Gemme for fifty-six years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Arthur J. and Imelda M. (Lefort) Gemme. Frank served in the Rhode Island National Guard Military Police for eight years. He was an engineering technician at Texas Instruments for forty-two years before retiring in 1991. Frank was a volunteer for the Darlington Plains Youth Association where he founded the Girls Basketball Program. Besides his wife, he leaves one son, Randall W. Gemme and his wife, Linda of Pawtucket; a daughter, Renee L. Speer and her husband, Drew of New Britain, CT; two grandchildren, Christian and Kylie Speer; two step-grandchildren, Scott and Kendra Andrews; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was the grandfather of the late Angelina L. Gemme and the brother of the late Robert A. Gemme, Beatrice Bonin and Lillian Grygalonis. VISITATION...
