Francis "Fitz" F. Fitzpatrick

South Attleboro – Francis “Fitz” F. Fitzpatrick, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Georgette H. (Shwaery) Fitzpatrick. In July, the couple would have celebrated their sixty-eighth wedding anniversary. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a son of the late Francis F. and Marie (Thome) Fitzpatrick.  Fitz was a proud United States Korean War Navy veteran. He was a graduate of Bryant College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and was a controller his entire career. He was a wine connoisseur and enjoyed attending classical music concerts, polo matches and jumping derbies with his wife in Newport, RI. Besides his loving wife, he leaves a son, Francis “Fitzie” F. Fitzpatrick, Jr.; a grandson, Camden Fitzpatrick all of South Attleboro; a sister, Elizabeth Hodges of Bel Air, Maryland and many nieces and nephews.
