Pawtucket – Florence (Walker) Mason, 96, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Mason.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (Stock) Walker.
Florence was a saleslady at Peerless, and Cherry & Webb until retiring.
She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church where she volunteered much of her time.
Florence had also been a volunteer at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and an avid bowler at East Providence Lanes.
But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She leaves two sons, Kenneth G.
Mason and his wife, Rose of Cranston and Robert T.
Mason and his wife, Mary of Toronto, Canada and a sister, Isabel Woodruff of Narragansett.
She was the cherished grandmother of Kenneth T.
Mason and his wife Sue of Johnston, Heather Barrakad and her husband, Tarik of Cranston, Christopher Mason and Jennifer Mason both of Toronto, Canada and the great-grandmother of Derek and Drew Mason, Ahmed, Adam, Yaser and Kenza Barrakad.
She was the sister of the late Anne James, Catherine Parks, William Walker and James Walker.
Visitation will begin Monday at 10: 30 a.m. followed by Services at Noon at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
