Florence C. Contois

Pawtucket - Florence C. (McQuesten) Contois, 95, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond S.

Born in Wrentham, MA, she was a daughter of the late Charles D. and Agnes C. (Callahan) McQuesten.

Florence resided in Pawtucket before moving to Rumford in 2005.

She had been employed by the E.

Hutchinson Company, Pawtucket, for twenty-three years before retiring in 1996.

Florence was a 1942 graduate of Wrentham High Scool.

She was a member of the Pawtucket Congregational Church for over fifty years and was a Past Noble Grand of the former Rebekah Lodge, Pawtucket.

Florence was an awesome cook, seamstress and cake decorator.

But most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Florence leaves a daughter, Rae Ann Howard and her husband, Michael, of Seekonk; two grandsons, Christopher M.

Howard and his wife, Kerri, of Riverside, RI and Jonathan R.

Howard and his wife, Caitlin, of North Easton, MA and several nieces and nephews.

She was the step-mother of the late Raymond T.

Contois and the sister of the late Helena Kleinkauf, Edna Beals, Wallace McQuesten, Lillian Adams, George McQuesten and Richard McQuesten.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend VISITATION on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Face masks are required, social distancing will be observed.

Her funeral followed by interment at Newell Burying Ground, So.

Attleboro will be private.
