Filomena L. Pereira

Pawtucket – Filomena L. (Lacerda) Pereira, 96, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel F. Pereira. Born in Cedros, Faial, Azores. Filomena was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony Church in Pawtucket. She leaves five sons, Manuel and his wife, Gilda of Rumford, Joe and his wife, Darlene of East Providence, Domingos, Antonio and Fernando all of Pawtucket; five daughters, Fatima Pinheiro and her husband, Gil, Filomena Dutra and her husband, Henry all in California, Fernanda Silveira and her husband, Henry of Lincoln, Lynn Palazzi and her husband, Jeff of Riverside and Teresa Pereira and her husband, Carlos of Somerset; a brother, Domingos Escobar of Faial, Azores; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by eight of her siblings. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
