Evelyn Vieira

Pawtucket – Evelyn (Rogers) Vieira, 99, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 6, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred E. Vieira, Sr. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late John and Lillian (Peters) Rogers. Evelyn worked as a cutter at Arbeka Webbing Co., Pawtucket for many years until her retirement in 1982. She was a communicant of the Church of St. Leo the Great and a member of the parish’s senior citizens club. Evelyn leaves a son, William J. Vieira of Seekonk; two granddaughters, Cory and Erin Vieira; a grandson, William “Bo” Vieira; a great-granddaughter, Leila Evelyn Gosselin and a brother, John Rogers. She was the mother of the late Alfred E. Vieira, Jr. and the sister of the late Edith Perry, Gertrude Leary, Raymond, Everett and Lester Rogers, Lillian Laroche and Ethel Viveros. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the...
