Evelyn M. Laurie

Pawtucket – Evelyn M. Laurie, 69, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Francis E. and Nolia M. (Cordin) Laurie. Evelyn worked at D. Palmieri’s Bakery in Johnston for many years and was a former Holy Union Sister for 21 years. She was an avid and devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox, and she enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with family and friends. Evelyn leaves three nephews, Jeffrey F. Laurie, Edward F. Laurie, Jr. of Leominster, MA and James S. Laurie, of Leominster, MA; two nieces, Colleen M. (Laurie) Dupont of Pawtucket and Lesley A. (Laurie) Almeida of Johnston and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward F. Laurie, Sr. VISITATION will begin Friday at 2 p.m. followed by Services at 5 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
