Eve Gouras

Seekonk – Eve (Bouris) Gouras, 99, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter C. Gouras who passed away in 1972. A lifelong resident of Seekonk, Eve was one of eleven children of the late Nicholas and Helene (Demetre) Bouris.  Eve worked for many years in customer service for Princess House in Taunton until retirement many years ago. She was a devout and longtime member of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Pawtucket and was actively involved in church ministries.  Eve will be lovingly remembered by her family and many friends.  Eve leaves two daughters, Audrey Gouras of Cranston and Paula Gouras of Seekonk; two grandchildren, Peter Agliata in New York and Katharine Agliata in New Jersey; a great-grandson, Luca Agliata; two sisters, Mary Barone of Johnston and Ursula “Sue” Michalopoulos of Pawtucket and many nieces and nephews.
