Eugene G. Thomsen

Cumberland – Eugene G. Thomsen, 83, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Born on Long Island, NY, he was a son of the late Albert G. and Mildred (Dickinson) Thomsen. Eugene was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and worked as a salesman in the food and beverage industry for many years until his retirement. He leaves his daughter, Michele L. Garcia and her husband, Carlos of Seekonk; two grandchildren, Carleigh and Jackson Garcia; four sisters, Marion Marcotte of Pawtucket, Barbara Ashley and Rosemarie Poncin both in South Carolina and Edna Brisart in Connecticut and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Earl Thomsen, Esther McKinnon, Margaret Hemond and Arthur Thomsen. VISITATION will begin Wednesday, October 12th at 3 p.m. followed by Services at 6 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will be private.
