Eugene F. Sasnett

Pawtucket - Eugene F. Sasnett, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Gloria M. (Pierce) Sasnett for 66 years. Born in Miami, Florida, a true southern gentleman, he was a son of the late William “Frank” F. and Annie Louise (Kelly) Sasnett. Gene proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II; Korea and the Vietnam War. He was a longtime and active member of Park Place Congregational Church, Pawtucket and member of the Ezekiel Bates Masonic Lodge AF & AM, Attleboro. Gene was a master gardener and watercolorist. He was a true handy-man who enjoyed fixing things for his family and friends. Gene was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. Besides his loving wife, Gene leaves three children, Gene Bryan-Sasnett and his wife, Beth of Bristol, Wendy C. Brunelle and her husband, Armand of Cumberland and John M.
