Eugene J. Harris

Seekonk – Eugene J. Harris, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Marie R. (Vallee) Harris for sixty-six loving years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late George, Sr. and Lucia (Boulanger) Harris. Gene was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He later worked as a self-employed carpenter and jack of all trades. Gene enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing. He also enjoyed visits to the beach and spending time with family and dear friends. Besides his loving wife, Gene leaves five children, Debra Carolan of Seekonk, Vicky Harris-Wolfe of Seekonk, Lori Harris of Seekonk, Eric Harris and his wife, Jean Sparks, of Dartmouth and Rita Magrath and her husband, Raymond, of Seekonk; a sister, Theresa Levasseur of Pawtucket; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
