Estelle C. Gray

Pawtucket – Estelle C. (Towner) Gray, 89, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Archibald “Archie” Gray for over 60 years. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Emile O. and Jeanne (Leroux) Towner. Estelle worked for 20 years for the City of Pawtucket in the capacity of Secretary to Chief of Police, serving under four chiefs throughout her career and was a former member of the Chiefs of Police Secretaries Association (COPSA). A devout Catholic, Estelle was a longtime member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Seekonk (Formerly St. Mary Church). Mrs. Gray also enjoyed volunteering at the Attleboro Seniors Center where she would work as a secretary and in various other capacities over the years. Outside of her professional life, Estelle loved traveling with Archie. They had many trips abroad as well as cruises, trips to Las Vegas and Reno as well as camping trips. She loved entertaining and preparing meals for her family on holidays...
