Estelle M. Gaudette

Pawtucket – Estelle M. (Coverly) Gaudette, 83, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Thursday, June 2, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene J. Gaudette. Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Arthur W., Sr. and Lucy E. (Ladd) Coverly. Estelle worked for nearly forty years as a respiratory therapist at both St. Joseph’s Hospital, Providence and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. Outside of her professional life, Estelle was an enthusiastic sports fan. Both Estelle, and her late husband, served as vice-president and president, respectively, of the Lincoln Country Club and was a founding member of the Pawtucket Slaterettes Baseball team. Estelle was also very devout. She was a longtime member of the Grace Gospel Church in Somerset and a monthly supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital. In more recent days, Estelle took up residence at Brookdale Sakonnet Bay Senior Residence in Tiverton, where she was considered witty, joyful and a caring friend....
