Esmeralda Morais

Pawtucket – Esmeralda (Vieira) Morais, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Fausto E.

Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria A.

Esmeralda emigrated to the United States in 1967 and settled in Pawtucket.

She worked in the local jewelry industry prior to becoming a beloved nanny for thirty years.

Esmeralda enjoyed going fishing, baking, yard sales and rooting for the Boston Red Sox or the New England Patriots.

Her presence and grace will be dearly missed by her family and loved ones.

She is survived by five children, Ana Kinsley of South Weymouth, Michael Ramos and his partner, Linda, of Pawtucket, Maximino Ramos, Jr. and his wife, Judith, of Providence, Carlos Ramos of Tennessee and Diana Ramos of Pawtucket; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and four siblings, Fernanda Medeiros of Pawtucket, Carlos Vieira of Pascoag, Jose F.

Vidal of Bermuda and Alice Sousa of Sao Miguel.

She was the sister of the late Joseph and Manny Vieira.

Funeral services will be private.

Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted.
