Pawtucket – Ernest R.
Parfitt, Sr., 75, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Walter and Edith (Smith) Parfitt.
Ernest was a United States Army veteran and went on to a career as an automotive frame technician.
He worked at D&B Autobody in Pawtucket for twenty-one years.
Ernest enjoyed camping, fishing, collecting model cars and being the life of any party.
He knew how to make people laugh and have a good time.
Ernest was also an avid collector of guns and a longtime member of the NRA.
He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past seventy-five years.
Ernest leaves two sons, Ernest “EP” R.
Parfitt, Jr. and his wife, Crystal, of Pawtucket, and Dean Parfitt and his wife, Nichole, of Florida; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two nephews, Alan & Scott Otis.
He was the father of the late Shelly Harker, grandfather of the late Scotty James Theroux and Lindsey Elizabeth Clavin, and brother of the late Barbara Cote.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend CALLING HOURS on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery will be private.
