Ernest R. Parfitt, Sr.

Pawtucket – Ernest R. Parfitt, Sr., 75, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Walter and Edith (Smith) Parfitt. Ernest was a United States Army veteran and went on to a career as an automotive frame technician. He worked at D&B Autobody in Pawtucket for twenty-one years. Ernest enjoyed camping, fishing, collecting model cars and being the life of any party. He knew how to make people laugh and have a good time. Ernest was also an avid collector of guns and a longtime member of the NRA. He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past seventy-five years. Ernest leaves two sons, Ernest “EP” R. Parfitt, Jr. and his wife, Crystal, of Pawtucket, and Dean Parfitt and his wife, Nichole, of Florida; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two nephews, Alan & Scott Otis. He was the father of the late Shelly Harker, grandfather of the late Scotty James Theroux and Lindsey Elizabeth Clavin, and brother of the late Barbara Cote....
