Ernest D. Malloy

Rehoboth – Ernest D. Malloy, 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Carol F. (Harris) Malloy. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Leslie and Martha (Schneider) Malloy. Ernest worked as an asphalt layer and more recently as the grounds keeper at the RI Country Club, Barrington, until his retirement. He was a devoted family man and a hard worker. Besides his loving wife, he leaves two sons, David R. Malloy of Granville, NY and James W. Malloy of Rehoboth; two grandchildren, James D. and Samantha K. Malloy and a sister, Martha E. Letourneau of Morgantown, WV. Services will be private. If desired, gifts in his memory to the Rehoboth Animal Shelter, 148 Peck St., Rehoboth, MA 02769 will be appreciated.
