Ernest M. Madden

Ernest M. Madden, Sr., 79, of Seekonk, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 6, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Harriet F. (Pearce) Madden. Born in Attleboro, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Bernice M. (Bennett) Madden. Ernest had served in the US Air Force and then went on to work for the Attleboro Fire Department for five years. More recently he had worked as a toolmaker for various area companies until his retirement in 1997. Ernest enjoyed sports, fishing and hunting, but most especially enjoyed spending time with his loving family. Besides his wife, Ernest leaves his three children, Sandra Barbour and her husband Joseph D’Almeida of Rehoboth, Judy Brown and her husband Christopher of Barrington, Rhode Island and Ernie Madden, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Ashland, New Hampshire; eight grandchildren, Kim Sellers, Chris Madden, Katie Madden, Becca James, Ryan Madden, Jonathan Brown, Tyler Brown and Austin Madden; four great-grandchildren, Mya Madden, Brady Sellers, Noah Madden and Aaron...
