Pawtucket – Ernest “Ernie” A.
Pelletier, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 14, 2021.
He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Hines) Pelletier for nearly fifty-three years.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Irene (Baker) Pelletier.
Air Force veteran, Ernie proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.
He worked as an aircraft mechanic at the former Naval Air Rework Facility in Quonset Point, and later as a security agent for the Department of Defense in Davisville.
Ernie enjoyed riding his motorcycle, bicycle and taking long walks with his wife through the Audubon Society.
His presence will be greatly missed by all the lives he has touched over the years.
Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by three children, Craig Pelletier and his wife, Diane, of Chepachet, Candece Marshall of Maine and Eric Pelletier of Pawtucket; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a cousin, Irene Degnan of Pawtucket.
He was the grandfather of the late Amber Rose Pelletier.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Requiem Eucharist on Monday at 9:00 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 490 Broadway, Pawtucket.
Interment with Military Honors will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in WILLIAM W.
