Ernest J. A. Noury

Charlestown – Ernest J. A. Noury, 80, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late Clarisse “Claire” (Lafreniere) Noury. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Joseph and Marie-Jeanne Noury. Ernie resided in Central Falls until moving to Charlestown in October 2013. He was a Vietnam War United States Air Force veteran.  Ernie had been employed as a design engineer at FRAM and Hasbro for many years until retiring. He leaves a daughter, Dawn M. Sokolosky and her husband, Roger, of East Greenwich; a son Keith E. Noury of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren, Kerri, Thomas and Jeffrey McCallum, Kaela and McKenzie Byrne, Faith And Cole Noury; a great-grandson, Seamus McCallum and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Lynne A. Womack and the brother of the late Raymond A. Noury, Claire M. Boisse-Pierce and Rene A. Noury. Services followed by interment with Military Honors at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, will be private....
