Eric J. Fournier

Attleboro – Eric J. Fournier, 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine T. (Marot) Fournier for 24 years, and the late Louise (Dulieu) Fournier. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Raoul and Laura (Riendeau) Fournier. Eric was an Industrial Engineer for Royal Electric, Pawtucket for many years until his retirement. He had served on the Board of Directors of Pawtucket Credit Union since 1981 and as Chairman of the Board from 1995 to 2001, retiring from the Board in 2004. Eric enjoyed playing golf and traveling. Besides his loving wife, Eric leaves his siblings, Joseph Fournier of Pawtucket and Claire Benoit of North Smithfield and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Conrad and Clement Fournier and Marguerite Morel. His funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket....
