Emelia W. Prescott

Pawtucket – Emelia W. (Horridge) Prescott, 80, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012.

She was the beloved wife of Arthur C.

Prescott, they had been married for fifty-one years.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Emelia (Wray) Horridge.

Emelia was a member of the Church of the Epiphany, Rumford and a member of the Vestry at the former St.

Martin’s Episcopal Church, Pawtucket for many years.

She enjoyed bowling and was active in the Pawtucket PTA many years ago.

Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Susan Aynalem and her husband, Shewarega of Jamestown and Judith E.

Patterson and her husband, Thomas of Smithfield; her son, Arthur H.

Prescott and his wife, Yasmin of Seekonk; four grandchildren, Matthew and Katelyn Aynalem and Jessica and Jason Patterson and her sister, Isabel Scott and her husband, Raymond of Pawtucket.

She was the sister of the late Henry Horridge who died during World War II.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Church of the Epiphany Memorial Fund, 1336 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford, RI 02916 will be appreciated.
