Elizabeth A. Swindelles

Pawtucket – Elizabeth A. (Barlow) Swindelles, 77, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dennis G.

Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late John and Abigail (Rogers) Barlow.

Elizabeth worked at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island for many years in dietary services until her retirement.

Prior to that she worked for many years at Arbeka Webbing in Pawtucket where she proudly served as union shop steward; she also worked for several years at Superior Plastics in Cumberland.

Besides always being a hard worker, she loved to read, country and western music, play video games, car rides to no where in particular - and was always up for a visit with friends and loved ones to chat over coffee.

Everyone who knew her knew how kind she was.

She leaves two daughters, Denise C.

Swindelles of Cranston and Susan A.

Swindelles in Maine; a grandson, Kyle Swindelles and his companion, Desiree Ralph; four great-grandchildren, Andre, Dante, Jadalynn and Ava Swindelles; two sisters, Catherine Bacon and Rose Newman both of Pawtucket and a brother, Robert Barlow of Pawtucket.

She was the sister of the late John “Jackie” Barlow, William Barlow, David Barlow and Timothy Barlow.

She was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Due to the current restrictions of the Covid-19 Pandemic services and inurnment at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, will be private.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Cheetham Funeral Home, Pawtucket, RI.
