Lincoln – Elizabeth (Collinson) McDonald, 99, formerly of South Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of the late Frank “Red” E.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Albert R. and Mary A. (Lee) Collinson.
Elizabeth was a loving homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family, taking care of her home and working in her yard.
Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends.
Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety-nine years.
Elizabeth leaves three children, Frank E.
McDonald, Jr. of Sandgate, VT, Jacqueline Chevalier and her husband, Gerald, of Woonsocket, and Robert McDonald and his wife, Carol, of Woonsocket; three grandchildren and their families, Benjamin McDonald and his companion, Stephanie, Heather Navarro her husband, Franklin, and their children, Christian, Rafael, and Gabrielle Navarro, and Bradley McDonald and his son, Shane McDonald.
She also leaves several step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, including Jane (Collinson) Swenson and the Stott Family.
She was the mother-in-law of the late Madeleine McDonald and the sister of the late Albert “James” Collinson, John Collinson, and Marion Stott.
Elizabeth’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the loving and caring staff of both the Ballou Home and The Holiday Retirement Home for the love and kindness during Elizabeth’s sunset days.
VISITATION will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 13th at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by Services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Moshassuck Cemetery in Central Falls.
