Elizabeth E. Fontaine

Pawtucket – Elizabeth E. (Russell) Fontaine, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters on Friday, September 17, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late George J. Fontaine for sixty-four years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late James T., Sr. and Ethel M. (Andrews) Russell. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, Mrs. Fontaine devoted her life tending to her family and home. She worked as a secretary for Dr. Howard Coleman, formerly of Rumford, for nearly thirty years prior to retiring in 2000. She was a parishioner of St. Teresa Church, Pawtucket, for over sixty years and lived by her faith. Mrs. Fontaine was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the ocean and spending time with her family. She is survived by five loving daughters, Carol A. Marsella and her husband, Anthony, of Florida, Elizabeth M. Shea and her husband, James, of South Attleboro, Janet E. Chaput and her late husband, Raymond, of Smithfield, Mary A. Ruggieri and her husband, Mark, of Cranston and Michele C....
