Elizabeth "Nellie" E. Hymers

Cranston – Elizabeth “Nellie” E. (Neil) Hymers, 85, formerly of Providence, Cranston, Central Falls and South Attleboro, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Robert Hymers for 61 years. Born in New Castle, England, a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Fairbrother) Neil, she came to the United States in 1951 and settled in South Attleboro. Nellie was a member of the Cranston Senior Center. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Susan Hawkins of Cranston; a son, Robert Hymers and her grandsons, Robert and Gregory. Services will be held Saturday, October 22nd at 11 a.m. in the South Attleboro Assembly of God, 1052 Newport Ave., South Attleboro. VISITATION will be Friday, October 21st 4 to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
